APPLE CAKE
Ingredients
150g self-raising flour
75g block margarine
100g sugar
200g cooking apples
1 egg
1 tablespoon milk
Method
Sift flour.
Rub in margarine.
Add sugar.
Peel, core and slice apples & add to mixture.
Mix to dough with egg, adding milk if necessary.
Bake in deep 7 inch tin for 35 mins on Gas Mark 4/350F/l80C.
