APPLE UPSIDE DOWN TART
Ingredients
4oz butter
4oz soft brown sugar
2 tablespoons honey
5 apples peeled & sliced
Short crust pastry
Method
Roll out shortcrust pastry and cut to fit dish - set aside.
Make syrup out of sugar, butter and honey.
Peel & slice apples, place in dish and pour over syrup - reserve a little.
Cover with pastry.
Cook for 25 mins on Gas Mark 5/375F/190C.
Invert onto serving dish.
Pour on rest of sauce .
