BOILED FRUIT CAKE
Ingredients
350 to 500g dried fruit
150g brown sugar
100g butter
1 teaspoon mixed spices
275ml milk
350g self-raising flour
2 eggs
Method
Boil all ingredients together for 5 mins apart from flour and eggs.
Cool to blood heat.
Then fold in flour and eggs.
Bake in 8 inch deep tin on Gas Mark 3/325F/160C for 1 hour or Gas Mark 2/300F/150C for 45 mins .

I enjoyed making this cake, it was easy to make but it took 1hr &
30mins to bake, but it did taste delicious.
