Brown Sugar Meringues
Ingredients
4 egg whites
4oz/100g light muscadavo suar
4oz/100g caster sugar
10fl.oz/300g double cream
Method
1.Preheat the oven to 130º /250º /gas mark 1/2. Line baking trays with greeseproof paper.
2.Place th egg whites in a large bowl and whisk untill stiff. Add sugar 1tsp at a time whisking well after each addition untill the sugar has been used up.
3.Shape into ovals using a desert spoon. Bake in a preheated oven for 1-1/2. Turn oven off leave door ajar and leave the merigues till cold.
To serve whip up10fl.oz/300g double cream and sandwich 2 Meringues together
