CHOCOLATE KRACKOLATES
Ingredients
1½ oz butter
1 level tablespoon syrup or honey
1½ level tablespoons cocoa
1 level tablespoon caster sugar
2 level tablespoons desiccated coconut
or 1 teaspoon orange rind (optional)
1½ oz Kelloggs Corn Flakes
Method
Melt butter and syrup slowly in a saucepan, do not boil.
Add cocoa.
Remove from heat, stir in sugar.
Using a metal spoon, fold in coconut or orange rind and Corn Flakes. Mix until coated.
Put spoonfuls into paper cases or onto a baking tray.
If syrup or honey is not available use double the quantity of sugar.
Makes 9-10 Krackolates.
