CHOCOLATE MACAROONS

Ingredients
2 large egg whites
4oz ground almonds
6oz caster sugar
1oz ground rice

Method
Fold ingredients in together.
Form into balls.
Glaze with egg white.
Bake on Gas Mark 2/300F/150C for 30 minutes.
Dip half in melted chocolate.
Glaze other half with apricot jam & sprinkle with chopped almonds & cherries.
