CUT AND BAKE BISCUITS
Ingredients
200g self raising flour
½ teaspoon salt
100g sugar
100g margarine
50g other ingredients
i.e. chocolate chips
chopped dates
chopped raisins
nuts
flavourings to taste e.g. vanilla/ratafia
1 egg
Method
Sift flour sugar & salt into bowl.
Rub in fat.
Add other ingredients.
Bind with egg.
Make into a roll.
Close wrap in foil or plastic.
Refrigerate or freeze.
Cut off ¼” slices as needed.
Bake 15 minutes Gas Mark 3/325F/160C.
