DROP SCONE (SCOTCH PANCAKE)
Ingredients
8oz plain flour
½ teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1oz caster sugar
1 desertspoon gold syrup
1 large egg
½ pint milk
Method
Mix all the ingredients (except the syrup) together.
Cook in a griddle or frying pan.
Pour the syrup over the cooked pancake.
