EASTER BISCUITS
Ingredients
50g margarine
50g sugar
½ egg or 1 yolk
100g self raising or plain flour
pinch of salt
1/4 level teaspoon cinnamon
25g currants
Method
Cream together margarine & sugar.
Add egg.
Sieve dried ingredients into mixture & fold together with dried fruit.
Bake on middle shelf gas mark 4/350F/180C for 10 minutes.
Brush with egg white and dredge with sugar & bake for a further 5 minutes.
