GINGERBREAD BUNS
Ingredients
100g self raising flour
½ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon mixed spice
1/4 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
40g granulated sugar
100g golden syrup
1/8 pint milk
50g margarine
1 beaten egg
Method
Sieve dry ingredients together.
Melt together sugar, syrup, milk and margarine.
Make a well in middle of dry ingredients and add melted ingredients and beaten egg.
Put into jug and pour into bun tins (makes about 12 buns).
Bake on Gas Mark 3/325F/150C for 15-20 mins.
