NORTON TEA BREAD

Ingredients
8oz sugar
6oz margarine
8oz dried fruit
8fl oz milk
14oz self raising flour

Method
Melt together the sugar, margarine, fruit & milk.  Bring to the boil and allow to cool.
Add the flour and mix thoroughly.
Fill 2 x 1lb or a 2lb tin.
Bake for 1 hour.
Cool.
Remove from tin.
Slice & butter.
