ROCK BUNS
Ingredients
100g plain flour
1 level teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon mixed spice (optional)
pinch salt
50g granulated sugar
50g margarine
½ egg (1 tablespoon milk) - milk may not be needed
50g mixed fruit
Method
Light oven Gas Mark 5/375F/190C.
Sieve dry ingredients together.
Add sugar.
Rub in fat.
Add fruit.
Mix to dry dough.
Make into 6 buns with spoon and fork and bake for 15 mins.
