WELSH CAKES

Ingredients
8oz self raising flour
pinch salt
2oz margarine
2oz caster sugar
3oz currants
1 egg

Method
Rub the fat into the flour.
Add remaining ingredients & bind together with egg.
Roll out 1/4 inch thick & cut into small rounds.
Cook on a griddle/bakestone.
